We went as a couple. It seems my partner and the manager knew each other from their school days, and even though I hadn't asked them, they kept talking about him and his ex-girlfriend. I told them to read the situation better, but they didn't seem to understand. The food was delicious, but it left me in a terrible mood.

It's been a while since I last went to Picchi, a Mexican restaurant. I ordered French fries and three kinds of tacos. First, I toasted the French fries with a beer! They were served in a nicely chilled glass. There were three types of tacos: chicken, pork, and beef. It's impossible to eat them all without getting your hands and mouth dirty. Once you start eating, be prepared to finish. That said, it was really delicious. I was quite full after all that. I'll definitely come back for more.

I finally went to the first restaurant I've been interested in since moving to Takasaki. I visited on a Monday evening, so there was only one other couple of women inside, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The large glass windows gave it an open feel. Everything was delicious, and I ended up ordering too much. The chipotle beef was originally quite spicy, so people who don't like spicy food might want to avoid it. The sauce is mixed with cilantro, so it's unavoidable, so be careful if you don't like spicy food. I didn't find out that smoking was allowed until quite some time after entering the restaurant, so I wish I had known from the beginning. The background music inside the restaurant felt a little loud, making it difficult to have a conversation as I am hard of hearing. The restaurant isn't that large, so it may feel a little cramped when it's full. But the food all seemed carefully prepared and was delicious. This is definitely one restaurant I'd like to visit again.

This is a very popular restaurant, so if you're sitting at the counter with a group, it can be hard to even have a conversation. But the food is so delicious that you'll keep coming back.
