Charlie’s Tacos

Not allowed to eat their Chilli con risoto out of the store at THEIR outside seating tables. However, if it's crowded and there's no room at the tables inside, how are you supposed to eat it? You probably would have to wait I guess. Menu has small, regular, and big portions and very filling. Its very popular with locals and can get crowded. You have to order first and then sit down. Do not sit without ordering as the tables are numbered and get assigned to paid customers.

It is a bit random to get tacos in Japan, but these tacos are worth a detour. The place is busy with locals. The venue is quaint and the service is fast and attentive. I had the beef tacos and they were delicious. The tortillas are a bit fluffier and thicker and are also fried, so these are not your usual standard Mexican taco. And yet, these tacos are less greasy than the ones King Tacos and certainly with more flavour. I definitely recommend them.

Great place for taco rice and tuna mayo tacos! Had my first taco rice here at Charlie’s Tacos and I wasn’t disappointed. Went around 1pm and there wasn’t a line, go in to the counter, order your food and grab a table. Ordered the 3 tacos combo and a taco rice. The tuna mayo taco was unique and very good! Taco rice was so surprisingly good and comforting!

The food was great. We shared a small combo meal (small taco rice, a beef taco and Fanta melon). The service is friendly and efficient too! There is parking around the area (hourly fee) also.

Tacos in Japan. This isn't something I expected but it's an experience I'll never forget. The place has been family-owned for decades, and there's a certain level of care and quality that's instantly recognizable upon stepping into the shop. The food is prepared like any standard American-style taco, but after one bite I realized I was eating something special. The taco shells are homemade and fried on site, and this gives the tacos a delicious taste and texture. The meat is savory, the condiments are fresh, and the sauce brings everything together. I love Charlie's Tacos. The staff is so kind, the atmosphere is so charming, and the food is timeless. Finally, if you want to try something unique, try the tuna tacos! I highly recommend.
