2 weeks agoDecided to try this place on a whim because it's been on my list since I first got to Oki. Just a heads up there is no parking at this restaurant so you have to park in a neighborhood in a parking lot that you have to pay for. I will say when I walked it the theme and decorations was definitely giving a Mexican feel even the music was too. The lady that took my order at the counter was very friendly and repeated my order which is a good thing. I didn't know what drink to they had quite a few options so I decided to get the Tamarindo drink and I will say it lacked the flavor of tamarind so it's a no for me. I decided to get the chicken quesadilla and chicken tacos. At first glance I was kinda hesitant about the chicken because it looked like it wasn't cooked fully because it was kinda pink and I'm not used to seeing pink in my chicken. But even though the chicken didn't look like what I was use to I decided to give it a try anyways and I was absolutely disappointed with the lack of flavor. The chicken had no seasoning at all I was very very confused. I decided to squeeze the lime on it thinking maybe it would help but it absolutely did not help at all. The chicken quesadilla lacked flavor as well and was super super greasy which is an absolute no no for me. I do not like greasy food at all. Unfortunately I really wanted to like this place, but it's not a good food spot. So I won't be returning or telling anyone about this place.

a month agoThis counter-style Mexican restaurant reminds me of the Mexican restaurants I used to frequent when I was in San Diego, USA. I had a burrito, which was grilled chicken wrapped in a tortilla. It was incredibly delicious with its warm tomato sauce and melted cheese. I recommend sharing the regular size between two people.
