a week agoWe almost missed this place because it's tucked away across from the ball field. I had the birria tacos and the cheese quesadilla kids set. If you're missing Bragg/Lejeune these tacos are for you. Drinks are sold separately. There are some juice popsicles. Parking is next door in a small lot. The seating is bench seating. It is a small establishment with 3? Tables inside and I believe 2 outside. They do serve some margaritas and beer! I'd say plenty of parking unless it's busy then it may be a little more difficult.

a month agoI’ve been hearing about Sabroso for the LONGEST & finally made it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly what I expected. Ambience itself is pretty mid. It seems like just an ordinary shack type with indoor/outdoor seating. The seats are random but can fit a small group, if necessary. Menu is very simple! Not entirely a bad thing, but small menu usually means the food is better (less to focus on). However, I was underwhelmed. We got chips + guac but they were way too oily. As if it sat in the oil and/or refried to “warm” them up. Tacos had a bit of extra room that could’ve been filled more & the meat was BLAND. Even with the consommé, it was extremely lackluster. Sure they have spices/sauces on the side, but it can only so so much. I love horchata so I figure, why not try it! Let me tell you: if you had told me it was vanilla milk, I would’ve believed it. It was very boring & they had forgotten I ordered it. Now I wish I had forgotten too. Located near a stadium but not much else around. Very tight fit. Also a seemingly barren garden/park type next to it. Not worth the drive. I’m sorry but I say skip this.

a month agoI stopped by here on my way from the airport to the Churaumi Aquarium during my trip to Okinawa. I got the impression that there were a lot of local foreign customers. The atmosphere was great, and the tacos dipped in soup were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.
