4 months agoIt was my first time eating Peruvian food. I was glad to enjoy the unique flavors. The meat was a little tough. It gets quite busy so I recommend making a reservation. The entrance is a little hard to find.

8 months agoI'm posting this because I just can't forgive something. The other day, my wife and I, my younger brother and his wife, and I visited the restaurant together. I had informed the restaurant in advance that I was pregnant, so I requested a sofa seat that would put less strain on my back. I hadn't yet told my younger brother and his wife about the pregnancy, so I wanted to surprise them with the birth of their first niece or nephew, so I reserved a dessert plate. (It also served as a celebration since their birthdays coincided.) I also chose the message to write on the plate: "I'm going to be an uncle, happy birthday." While I live avoiding animals that day, I ordered some meat, as they recommended it. They recommended 300g for two people, so I ordered just 300g, knowing I wouldn't eat it. A few minutes later, the waitress who had taken our order returned to our table and asked, in front of everyone, "What about meat for pregnant women?" The surprise was ruined at that moment. My younger brother and his wife pretended not to hear, but they found out, asking, "Huh? You're pregnant?" If a pregnant woman were to dine there, we would have something said to her, so wouldn't it have been obvious if she hadn't done that? She deliberately came to the restaurant without any maternity markings on her bag, and by looking at the message on the surprise plate, it should have been clear that this was a surprise occasion to announce a pregnancy. What was the female staff member thinking when she said that? If it had just been a failed birthday surprise, it would have been a funny story, but they ruined the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to announce the birth of my first niece and nephew. It's truly unbelievable, and I'll never forget it. I wondered whether I should tell the restaurant that the pregnancy was a surprise, but I was overconfident, thinking that they would know from the contents of the plate and that they would be considered because it's a fairly expensive restaurant. I'll never go there again, and it's a real shame as I really liked this chain.
