4 weeks agoI made a reservation for just a table, and then changed the number of people by one, and without any explanation, I was charged a 5,000 yen cancellation fee. I could understand if I had reserved a course or meal, but 5,000 yen for the table is just out of the question... The place was completely empty. Just as I was about to leave, I noticed on my receipt an "Original Cocktail 5,000 yen" that I don't remember ordering. I asked what that was, and they said, "It's a cancellation fee." I was so shocked that I was speechless... The food wasn't tasty, and the menu was hard to read. The paella was just a sprinkling of cherry shrimp on top, the plate was small, and there wasn't much rice. Overall, it was a rip-off...

a month agoAt first, there were no seats available, so we waited on the terrace, but it was too cold, lol. When an indoor seat became available, we returned and successfully sat on a sofa. It's very stylish and seems like a good place for a date. The paella was very delicious, but the portions of the food were generally small. I missed taking a photo of the celebratory plate, so I asked them if they could light the fireworks again, and they did. Thank you very much.

a month agoWe visited as a group of six, including my friend's two children, and it was a very comfortable atmosphere where we were able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. We apologized for the children causing a bit of noise at one point, but the staff were polite throughout and provided warm, smiling service, which we were very grateful for. We reserved a private room, but if you're dining with small children, I think you'll be able to enjoy a leisurely meal together. The paella and ajillo were all delicious, and we found ourselves having lively conversations. The atmosphere was stylish and comfortable, making it a wonderful restaurant that we'd definitely like to visit again.

a month agoI booked this restaurant weeks in advance for a dinner for Christmas. They had multiple courses available for booking: a Terrace course and a Christmas course. Looking at the food of both courses, I decided to go with the Terrace course as my partner and I both felt the courses looked more appetizing and the additional ¥3000 for the Christmas course didn't feel worth it for us. Going into the restaurant, it had a nice atmosphere. They had a pleasant selection of Christmas music playing to fit the season. The tables and seating looked comfortable, albeit a little too close together. There was also a patio area, but it was too cold outside to enjoy. We were the only customers placed at the bar which was messy and full of backstock. It wasn't a huge deal, however, as we could look out at the city from the 10th story view. We ordered a drink and we waited for each course to come out. The appetizer was pleasant. Next, we received some sashimi. It was tasty. After, received a crab gratin which was good. The next course was steak. That was, by far, the best course of the evening. The main course was paella, and that was disappointing. The quality of the ingredients and how it all came together was underwhelming. The dessert came last, and it was a chocolate cake with strawberry mousse. It was a solid way to end the meal. Our issue came at the end when we received the bill. As previously mentioned, I booked the Terrace course but we inadvertently were given the Christmas course. While it was my mistake for not realizing in advance, I was surprised to see we were charged for the more expensive course. I showed the staff that we had booked the other course, to which the staff replied that they would go check. We were told that the other course wasn't available and since we ate the Christmas course that we weren't supposed to receive that we needed to pay for it. While I acknowledge that I should have confirmed that the reservation was for the Terrace course and informed the staff when we received the wrong food, the fact that we were able to book a course was that not even offered that evening and then had to pay for the more expensive course was quite disappointing. We also felt that while a few courses were pleasant that the quality didn't justify the price; likely a combination of personal taste and frustration over how the bill was handled by the restaurant. At the beginning of our arrival, we looked at the menu and discussed how we could return to try other dishes in the future. After this experience, I can safely say that I will never return. One other final point: it seemed that a few of the staff were ill during this visit. My partner and I observed the staff member behind the bar sneezing into his hands, not washing his hands, and then continuing to serve drinks and dry glasses. We stopped ordering drinks after seeing that happen. The view is nice and the atmosphere is solid, but the quality of the food for the price is underwhelming. Add in the mix-up of the bill and the possible uncleanliness of the staff, and I've come to the conclusion that I can't recommend this place to anyone.
