I booked this restaurant directly from Rome to secure a seat. Some of the dishes are truly breathtaking. The location and service were excellent. I'd like to highlight one aspect that struck me and for which I'd like to compliment them for going against the grain—compared to Italy. Among the various employees was a sommelier with numerous tattoos, both on his neck and hands—without a doubt, in Italy we're far behind in this respect. A fine example of "going beyond appearances." Congratulations indeed.

I find it extremely difficult to understand how this restaurant can be ranked number 9 among the best restaurants in the world. Our experience, as a group of three, was deeply concerning: all three of us suffered from food poisoning after dining there. We had not eaten lunch that day, meaning this dinner was the only meal we all shared. We communicated this issue to the restaurant, yet after several hours we received only a brief and dismissive response stating that no other complaints had been reported. This reaction is both disappointing and unacceptable. Are we seriously expected to believe that the severe symptoms we experienced—persistent diarrhea throughout the night and the following day—were merely coincidental or imagined? Based on the symptoms we experienced, it is entirely plausible that they were caused by the raw fish and meat served during the meal, which are well-known risk factors for foodborne illness when not handled or prepared correctly. Such a response reflects a troubling lack of accountability and concern for guests’ well-being. Under a more rigorous legal framework, this situation would warrant formal action to ensure that no other guests are exposed to similar risks.

Amazing food and amazing customer service with beautiful scenery of where they grow there own fruit/vegetable garden. 5 stars and I recommend you check it out if you're in Lima and very reasonable reviews.

It was a wonderful evening, not only because of the explosion of flavors and the marvelous culinary culture. The service was outstanding. I had a wonderful night. I was speechless at the attention from Santiago Delgado and the bartender (I don't remember his name). If you want to give someone you love a beautiful evening, go have dinner at Kjolle.
