Mi Choripan is a lively Argentine eatery located in Yoyogi-Uehara, Tokyo, specializing in choripán, a classic Argentine street food consisting of a juicy chorizo sausage served in crusty bread. The restaurant was founded by a Japanese chef who trained at a renowned chorizo shop in Buenos Aires, bringing authentic Argentine flavors to Tokyo. The interior is casual and welcoming, evoking the vibrant street food culture of Argentina.
The restaurant is known for its house-made chorizo, crafted from a blend of beef and pork and seasoned with herbs including oregano. The sausages are grilled over charcoal, giving them a crisp exterior while keeping the inside juicy and flavorful. Diners can enjoy their choripán with traditional Argentine condiments such as chimichurri, garlic sauce, mayonnaise, and mustard, and add toppings like lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and fresh Argentine salsa to customize their sandwiches.
Popular menu items include the classic choripán, served with chimichurri, as well as the salsa choripán, topped with a fresh mix of onions, tomatoes, basil, parsley, and vinegar. For lighter meals, mini choripán sandwiches are also available. By reservation, Mi Choripan offers an asado, an Argentine-style barbecue with beef and pork cuts grilled over charcoal, allowing guests to enjoy the full spectrum of Argentine flavors.
The restaurant is open from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday and Wednesday through Sunday, while Tuesdays and the second and fourth Mondays of the month are closed, except on public holidays. It is located at 2-4-8 Kamiyama-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, just a six-minute walk from Yoyogi-Uehara Station, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors.
Patrons praise Mi Choripan for its authentic taste and high-quality chorizo, as well as its lively, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of Buenos Aires. Whether you are familiar with Argentine cuisine or trying it for the first time, Mi Choripan offers a delicious and memorable culinary experience in the heart of Tokyo.

2 months agoI happened to pass by this restaurant and thought it was a cute one. I stopped in for lunch! The food was delicious and the portions were amazing! (^^) The interior has a chic, laid-back feel, perhaps inspired by Argentina, and it really does have a great vibe. It feels like it could be more trendy, but maybe because I happened to be there at a different time, it was laid back. For lunch to cost 1,500 yen and have such a great feel, that's amazing! ^ ^ If Harleys and other motorbikes had stopped to eat, it would probably be popular with them too! I'll definitely go again.

2 months agoI went there for lunch, and it seems like it's popular with locals. It was so popular that it was full! It didn't seem like there were many seats. The choripan was very filling, with a generous portion of vegetables and the spicy chorizo. (^_^) I bought some here and enjoyed it in Yoyogi Park.
