in the last weekThis Peruvian restaurant, which has been around since 2003, is always bustling with international customers, so reservations are recommended. We toasted with Peruvian beer; Cusqueña Golden Lager was refreshing and easy to drink. For appetizers, we chose the special seafood marinade from the recommended menu. The beef heart, marinated in a special sauce using Peruvian spices and then grilled, was simply and wildly delicious. The heart was huge and substantial, but the texture was tender, and the huacatay sauce, made with herbs essential to Peruvian cuisine, was also delicious. The seafood paella, cooked with fresh seafood, was tomato-based and packed with ingredients like mussels, octopus, and shrimp, making it very filling. This restaurant has been open in Shibuya for over 20 years and is a favorite of the Peruvian Embassy. You can enjoy authentic Peruvian cuisine, and they also have set courses, making it a great place to go with a group of 3 or 4 people.

a week agoThe food was so authentic it made me feel like I was on a trip to Peru. The beef heart was amazing, with a chewy texture and rich flavor like a lighter version of beef tongue. The atmosphere was great too, it made me want to go to Peru. I'll definitely go again.
