3 weeks agoAfter the Machu Picchu exhibition, I went to ALDO Minami Aoyama, unable to contain my desire to visit Peru. (lol) This was my first time eating Peruvian food, and I had no idea what the flavors or ingredients would be like. Despite my excitement, I decided to order à la carte instead of a set course. Tuna Causa Ceviche Grilled Heart Skewers Quinoa Soup Coriander Chicken Rice Everything was delicious! I've said "delicious" countless times!! Simply delicious!!! I'm the type who likes to be particular about my cooking, so I can be quite picky, but...delicious! is all I can say (lol) I was particularly impressed with the coriander chicken rice, with its seasoning that exceeded my expectations and the tenderness of the chicken. The staff were also very hospitable, and even though it was my first time at this restaurant, I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal. I think this dish will be a perfect fit for those who love herbs, lime, and chili.

a month agoI normally live in Ireland, and this time I visited with my family. I've never been to Peru, but it was the most delicious Peruvian food I've ever eaten. My partner, who is from Peru, was also very happy ☺It was also my family's first time trying Peruvian food, and they loved it. I'd like to stop by again next time I visit Japan.

a month agoI visited for lunch on a weekday. This Peruvian restaurant is located in the basement of a narrow alley in the Minami-Aoyama area. I ordered the Lomo Saltado (1,200 yen) from their weekday-only lunch special. It was my first time trying Peruvian-style stir-fried peanuts and vegetables! It came with a salad or soup and a drink, so it was a great deal^^ The dish featured fragrantly stir-fried beef, onions, and tomatoes, and was flavored with a rich soy sauce-like flavor and spices. It was a mild, flavorful dish that even Japanese people would find naturally appealing★ The beef was juicy, meaty, and incredibly satisfying. It was rich enough that I wanted a second helping of rice^^
