EL LATINO

We were hesitant only because we thought we should eat Japanese food as much as possible while in Japan, but we couldn’t resist because of the reviews. So glad we came … incredible vibes. They were so welcoming and we had fun communicating in multiple languages. The guacamole was great and the margaritas were strong, which is the way I like them). A highlight of our trip, for sure!

A Small Mexican restaurant where you can get delicious dishes like Enchiladas. Really reminds me of home in Mexico! I like to go when I am missing home and really wants some authentic tasting Mexican food beyond nachos and tacos. It's not overly fancy, but I like that about this place because it reminds me of a home cooked meal. The owners are really nice as well! They use to live in Mexico and know Spanish as well - super friendly. Definitely worth it for the magnificent price!

Delicious food and lovely staff! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the chill latino music. Had a nice chat with the owner about his travels, can't recommend this place enough!

This will be a food review where I don't talk about the food. I won't because the vibe of this place was hilarious. So much to take in homie. Go there for the experience.

Awesome home style Mexican spot in Kyoto. Not too many places were open on a weekday late evening and I found El Latino and am so glad I did. Some of the best tacos I’ve had outside of California/Mexico, but the atmosphere and hospitality is what it’s really all about. Incredibly kind staff and an English menu to help!
