en la última semanaAs I usually say, I kept hearing about this place for MONTHS. But then my roommate was curious so we went. It was decent! Finding parking here was a bit tough. They have very few spots (which get filled up quickly) so then you gotta find street parking & hope you don’t obstruct traffic. When we went in, the setting was very narrow & the layout felt scattered. Random chairs on front & cramped seating. But we don’t have to wait long for a table. Ordering here works by paper & clicking a button to have a waiter assist you. We were done with our papers & pressed button but don’t receive any help for over 5 minutes until we had to press again. I’m assuming they forgot but felt kind of awkward. We also noticed the table next to us had 3 patrons of which one was eating food. We assumed his friends finished eating but they got their food much later than he did. Once we got our drinks, the horchata was tasty but very sweet. Slightly boring. Appetizers were right after. Chips were a mix of old/new chips with the old ones being very chewy/soaked of oil. Very unpleasant but the guacamole itself was good. Food came and the portions are huge- kinda what you expect for the price. Burrito was yummy & filled. Not dry at all. Meat for both dishes was a bit chewy. Rice was good with the refried beans but the beans felt like they just came out of a can & added cheese on top. The place is alright. It’s mid service at most with 2 meals on one plate if you take leftovers to go. Would be an alright place with a group of friends as long as they don’t have everyone else watching one guy eat.

hace una semanaBest Mexican food place on the island. My wife amd I had the cheese enchilada plate and they were fantastic. My only issue was they were cold. Most Mexican places you can't touch the plate because it was in the oven, but plates were cold and so was the food. Great flavor though. Boys had the pork Gordita plate and the pork was good and the shell might have been the best thing on the menu. Daughter had a quesadilla and they were skimpy with the cheese. Horchata is creamy and cinnamony as it should be. Get the sopapillas! We will be back to try their breakfast burritos.

Hace 2 semanasThis place gets a 5/5 in all aspects!!! The owner is prior military and even made the news during his grand opening so I knew I had to stop by. The decor was authentic and thought out. It reflected true Mexican values and the food was no doubt THE BEST Mexican food in all of Okinawa. The chips and guacamole are perfect for an appetizer. But be careful!! The main meal is HUGE and always left me taking to go. The portions are great for the price and the Horchata doesn’t get better than this. However, the building is small and maybe seats about 20-25 people so sometimes I take to go if it’s busy but the food never disappoints and I will always be coming here when I am craving some Mexican food.
