a week agoWe stumbled upon this spot while walking back to our hotel, and what a find! We were seated right away and immediately loved the vibrant Latin vibe. We ordered a few dishes to share—the broccoli was absolutely outstanding, and the nachos and quesadillas were equally delicious. But the true standout? The hot sauce. The depth of flavor was out of this world, and we were thrilled to learn it’s made in-house by the owner. You can really taste the care and craft that goes into it. Can’t recommend this place enough! Gracias muchachos!! We will be back!

a year agoStumbled upon this place and did have any expectations. Glad we did ! Authentic delicious tacos. Homemade hot sauces which were a great addition to the tacos. We saw many of the customers ordering the steak dish which looked amazing. Unfortunately it was sold out when we came in towards the end of the day. We plan to visit again just to taste the steak. Cheesecake for dessert was 10/10. Good place for drinks/food with friends. Highly recommended.

6 years agoWe have been traveling in Japan for a while and missed Mexican food since we are from California. When we had a bite of their guacamole and salsa with chips, we were in heaven. This restaurant makes their own hot sauce and it complimented the dish very well. You can even buy their hot sauce. We had a beef taco, shrimp taco, and a few other dishes. Everything was tasty. Comparing with American serving size, the portions were smaller but we truly enjoyed our dinner. They asked us to order one drink each, which is not a rare practice in Japan, so we all ordered juice since we don't really drink. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely be back when next time we visit Kyoto.

3 years agoLoved this place so much! The owner and staff are great. I have no idea why other reviewers said this place was not welcome for foreigners it was fine and they were very nice to us. The food is totally yummy be sure to try the house made hot sauce. You can even buy some to take home! The interior is bright and cheerful. They are open late and the sangria is delicious.

11 months agoFood was ok overall. Chicken tacos were too salty. The nachos were nice. Overall good, but small for the price. If going here be aware They make you buy a drink and the charge 10%service charge on top of 10% tax
