Authentic. Beautiful. Delicious. Taquito is the heart Mexico in Ichikawa and anywhere nearby. If you want a real taste of Mexican food with a Latin American atmosphere, this is your stop. I haven't experienced anything better in the years I've lived in Japan. Enjoy!
We ordered Pastor tacos, Chicken Tostadas with sides of Guacamole - Avocado dip & corn chips and Mexican salsa & corn chips (Pico de Gallo) during lunch time. Though Tostadas doesn’t feature in their lunch menu, chef was kind enough to make them for us and suggested to have one portion each as tostadas are difficult to share. Crunchy and delicious, they were quite delicious. Pastor tacos comes with 3 tacos and was easy to share. Pork was tender and juicy with perfect marination with pineapple. Highly recommended for authentic Mexican food. Downside - portion sizes are small and price little on higher side.
A little Ichikawa treasure. The food, atmosphere and staff will take you to Mexico. This kids-friendly restaurant makes you feel at home.
The dishes are well priced and you will not get this quality of Mexican food in many places. Delicious. The chef really puts his heart into his work. The well-varied menu has something for everyone. Though there is no separate kids menu, there is no need for one. Children can easily enjoy the food with their parents.
Without a doubt you will have many questions and the friendly staff (who speak Japanese, English and Spanish) are more than happy to chat with you. After your first visit, you will feel like you've been there so many times.
I just discover this place and its marvelous, and the food is excellent, as a Mexican girl I can say that the food taste is original and also created by a super good Mexican chef, they are super friendly and a beautiful couple that run this mexican restaurant, they told me that if I miss any mexican dish I can tell them in advance and they could prepare it for me. Looking forward to go one more time! Excellent job here!!!
A Mexican restaurant in Japan where you can actually hear Spanish being spoken is so rare. This place delivers on the food as well. I judge most Mexican places on their Chilaquiles, which is my all time favorite dish. It was really good and brought me back to my mornings in San Diego and stopping by my local shop and picking up Chilaquiles before going to school. Go here for Mexican food. You will not regret it.
