a year agoAlthough Hama Brasil Street is not crowded and crowded with shops to the point of being considered a shopping district, there are unique shops scattered here and there that are unique to privately run businesses. This one is also reasonably priced and delicious. Since there are many customers from Central and South America, Spanish is spoken lively in the store. Peruvian cuisine also includes fried rice, and overall it is a taste that Japanese people like.

2 years agoI had roast beef with mashed potatoes and rice (ASADO DE RES CON PURÉ Y ARROZ) at El Paisano, a Peruvian (or perhaps Brazilian?) restaurant in Tsurumi, Kawasaki City, which I'd previously seen featured on Twitter. I wanted to try South American cuisine, so I walked about an hour from Kawasaki Station on my way to work and finally arrived. They also serve Chinese-South American fusion dishes, which I wanted to try, but for my first visit I went for a safe, straightforward meat dish. The meat was tender, and the mashed potatoes were unusual for me, so they weren't bad. However, it was a bit disappointing that the meat was cold, perhaps because the stew sauce was pre-made. Also, the Inca Cola I ordered out of curiosity was incredibly sweet (lol).

3 years agoI visited for lunch on a weekday! It's a restaurant aimed at Peruvians, but Japanese is also spoken. The lunch menu is 800 yen and has 6 types such as lomo saltado and aji de gagina, and 1 daily special. It comes with soup and a drink, so it's good value for money. This time I had the kaukau! The kaukau is a stew of hachinosu and potatoes and has a relatively light taste, so when I ate it with ahi sauce it was spicy and delicious.
