Geodana Indian & Latin American Restaurant is a rare spot in Yokosuka where you can enjoy both Indian and Latin American cuisine. Serving generous portions of Peruvian, Colombian, and Mexican dishes, its friendly staff provides a warm, homey welcome, making it a great choice for families. With amenities like pool tables, it’s a local favorite for those seeking an exotic atmosphere to enjoy both dining and socializing.

2 months agoBetween two of us we ordered: Fish ceviché Beef & chicken empanadas Beef heart anticuchos Jerk chicken leg Pork lomo saltado Patacones 4 non-alcoholic drinks Out of these 6 dishes, only two were great: the empanadas and pork lomo saltado. The jerk chicken was the biggest disappointment -dry and the taste and lack of heat wasn't even remotely traditional. Ceviché didn't use any fresh chilli peppers, but relied on ground pepper instead which overpowered the dish. The anticuchos were a bit tough and lackluster, and the bed of potatoes underneath was bland and pointless. Lastly, the patacones also lacked flavour. The lucuma milkshake though was delicious! Overall, Geodana boldly attempts to serve 5 different cuisines, but it doesn't make any sense. The menu is overwhelming and you're likely to end up choosing a dud dish. I'd recommend Geodana to offer a limited menu and perfect those fewer dishes that they actually do well in.

4 months agoVery clean, good was fresh and delicious. I had gotten the fried tilapia and fries with plantains. Plus a guava and soursop smoothies, so refreshing! Would recommend!

5 months agoNormally I write reviews for customers but today I want to write this for Geo. I’ve been in YOKO for 20 years and the brand is synonymous with things Sailors out here need. Obviously, we need good food. While this menu tries to service ethnicities from all walks of life, I think it does a disservice to the people from these ethnic backgrounds. I stopped by and tried some food today for the first time. Of the dishes I tried it was not even remotely close to the quality of food from the respective cultures. Recommendation, cut the menu down to your most popular dishes and fine tune / perfect those. I was skeptical that such a varied menu could produce good food and I was right. For the location and space this restaurant occupies I think it could be packed with sailors and their families. But the food must be good for that to happen.
