a month agoThe appetizer was cashew nuts and chilled tofu made by a chef who trained at Eriguri, the Spanish restaurant with the world's hardest reservations to get. The nuts were flavored with consommé, and the chilled tofu with olive oil. I ordered prosciutto, mushrooms, cabbage, and paella. The cabbage and mushrooms were piping hot, almost splattering with oil. The scallops in the paella were delicious. The churros were luxurious, with chocolate inside. The ice cream was hokey pokey.

a month agoMy sister and I visited the restaurant together. This time, we didn't order a set menu, but instead reserved a table. We were happy to be able to choose our own appetizers. We ordered cheese spring rolls and Spanish-style chilled tofu. The spring rolls had melty cheese inside and were perfectly seasoned with white wine. The chilled tofu was also refreshing, with olive oil and paprika powder. The dish that particularly impressed us was the Bilbao-style mushrooms! The salty prosciutto and mushrooms were a perfect match, and my sister and I kept repeating "delicious" with each bite. Also, I thought the special menu available to LINE friends was a great value and fun. This time, we ordered smoked chikuwa with blue cheese. I never knew blue cheese and chikuwa went so well together! The overall flavor was quite strong, which I liked. For the final dish, we ordered the Devil's Paella, topped with octopus, potato salad, and garlicky mayonnaise, which added a nice accent. The rice was just the right firmness, and we ate both servings in no time! I'd love to stop by again if I'm in the area. The manager's friendly service was a great match for the cheerful Spanish cuisine, and I was very impressed! Thank you for the delicious food.

2 months agoI apologize to the restaurant, but the photos of the food on the sign outside didn't look very appetizing, so I honestly hesitated to enter until the last minute. I thought a 1,000 yen lunch would be okay, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Mizutani Yutaka fried rice in particular looked ordinary at first glance, but it was filled with tender beef stewed in red wine and had a delicious flavor. I thought 1,000 yen was a bargain. Ordering the paella and chateaubriand on my first visit, which are priced quite boldly, took some courage, but now that I knew the food was delicious, I'll stick to the regular menu next time. PS: I ordered the paella on my second visit. It was rich and delicious. The shrimp and scallops were large and filling. However, the rice portion was not that much, even for two people, so if you're having a main meal, you might want to order extra rice.

2 months agoThe drinks are a bit pricey and the portions are a bit off, but the food is delicious. Their Instagram and LINE posts have a unique style, but their customer service is flawless.

2 months agoI first tried La Casa Bonita via UberEATS—ordered the spicy shrimp a while back (though it’s no longer available on the app)—and liked it enough to visit the restaurant. It’s a small spot upstairs on the second floor, and the owner seemed friendly and welcoming. The food was quite good and delicious, though a bit pricey. When I went, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, and the wait for our food was short. They accept credit cards and popular payment methods including Quic Pay, which I used. Just be aware non-Japanese speakers: the menu is entirely in Japanese, with no English version available. I managed to communicate with the owner using my limited Japanese. So I’m not sure whether he speaks or understands English.
