5 months agoA very cool, unassuming restaurant. The vibe was trendy and the food was good. The oysters on the halfshell, having been spoiled by New England fare, were surprisingly good! The service started really good but slowed once the restaurant got busy. A small detail. 10/10 would recommend and would go back!

11 months agoI agree with Mocxy Mocz. Corkage fee should be reasonable. ¥500 per piece is a bit too much. If explained well, we would rather dine some place else for some decent desserts. That response that your restaurant is not a rental place feels dismissive especially when we were hoping to enjoy a meal without restrictions. It’s reasonable to expect that paying customers should feel welcome to stay and eat as much as they like. Communication about policies can be tricky, & it’s understandable to feel frustrated if it seems like the restaurant is prioritizing something other than customer experience. Mind you, a waitress asking customers to hand her empty plates came off as unprofessional. Or worse, rude. As it's typically the staff's responsibility to handle that. Customers generally expect to be served, most especially in Japanese culture. So it’s important for staff to strike the right balance in their requests. And please, with a smiling face.

12 months agoLast Sept.07, I celebrated my birthday on this place. The place, ambiance and foods are pleasant. However, the service, staff and system are poor and needs improvement. The main thing that agitated me was I made a reservation and inquired about their rules/system if we will be bringing a cake and I was told there is a charge of Y500. Surprisingly, at the time of payment, I was told that the Y500 is per head which is too ridiculous and over pricing for me. I celebrated my birthday to have fun and enjoy my time with friends/relatives but the whole scenario made the whole celebration unpleasant considering the poor service and the poor communication..And the most irritating part is that this one female staff was so disrespectful the way that she approached or the way she behaved to us,and even told us at around 8pm if we have last orders to think that the restaurant closes at 1 am(if they are panicking because it was a busy day,she should have at least approached us with a polite face)if i am the manager, she needs disciplinary action, unacceptable manner for a waitress..and to know that there was no time limit for the table at this particular restaurant,so we were all surprisedi felt discriminated at this place,so i would not recommend this place to my friends..
