What a wonderful restaurant. I’d never had Bolivian food before and enjoyed it a ton. Pictured is the broasted chicken with “cheese rice”. Really good and just ¥1200. La Pascana has a simple, easygoing atmosphere. It feels like a place where families get together. You WILL hear a lot of Spanish inside, but don’t worry - the woman working there speaks very fluent Japanese. The entire staff is SUPER friendly. The man who brought our food has one of those contagious smiles where you can’t help but smile too. It’s really great to have a restaurant like this on the border of Yokkaichi and Suzuka!

Sunday, May 18, 2025 20:30 The steak a la chorellana was delicious, with steak, fried egg, vegetables, potatoes, and rice stewed with cheese. (It's not in the photo this time, but it seems to be served often.) The mocochinchi was a slightly sweet plum juice, which I tried for the first time. (Posted in January 2025) The Bolivian food was delicious, and the staff were nice. The "picante de pocho" was delicious with spicy chicken and fried rice, and the pork burger was also filling and satisfying. The last time I went, I ate "sarteña," a dish with minced meat inside that can be ordered from one piece. It's a small restaurant with about 20 seats, but the staff are kind and it's easy to enter even by yourself. I'd like to go again.

I took the empanadas home and ate them. It's my personal favorite flavor. The dough is sweet and there are plenty of ingredients inside. It becomes addictive. I will go buy it again. You can also pay by d payment, which is convenient.

I got a pack of four empanadas (pictured below) for 1,000 yen to go. They're packed with filling, and the skin is deliciously sweet! They're even better when heated! Two empanadas were enough to fill me up. I'll definitely be back! Next time I'll order by phone.

This is a rare Bolivian restaurant. I happened to pop into the restaurant and had Picante de pollo (spicy chicken stewed in tomato sauce), a pork hamburger, and a salteña. Everything was delicious! They just opened, so I'm excited to see what new items they'll add to their menu!
