Emerald Oceanside

One of my favorite date night spots on island! The owner and staff are so pleasant they feel more like friends or family at this point. That’s a great feeling when you’re far from home. There’s no question about it the macaroni and cheese is a must. Could be shared as an appetizer in addition to the steaks. We asked for a side of the fondue style cheese and it was served like cheese dip! Secret menu item has been unlocked. The toast is great to dip with. The salad dressing is so tasty and the salad is served on a chilled plate. You listen to the sound of the ocean while you eat and the view is gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit, 5/5 in every category.

Nice setting and food. We were walk and it was quite busy at 6pm on a Saturday. Food is good, though steaks are not quite American with little to no crust. The loco steak was slightly disappointing as the photo shows tons of avocado whereas the real thing had 3 thin slivers. Taste was OK though. Mac and cheese isn't baked but tasted good. Rice balls are OK too.

Man, I really enjoyed this dinner. The ajillo seafood appetizer was a great start and my steak was cooked exactly the way I requested. Garlic butter added a nice touch to the steak. Ambiance is nice and it was not overly crowded when we went on a Friday at 1900. Good drinks, great prices, and awesome, attentive service. This is a winner.

Simple food done well.
We had prawns on a bed of ice.
Plus steak eggs and chips.
They were all excellent and I would love to come again.

We've been on island for about three weeks and have tried many restaurants with good food, friendly service and decent atmosphere. This place knocked it out of the park. Delicious food, breathtaking views, friendly service. Wow!
