Avocados Mexican Cafe is a personable restaurant in Osaka celebrated for in-house tortillas, scratch-made salsas, and reliably spicy, well-seasoned tacos. The owner’s warm welcome and the varied menu—burritos, enchiladas and satisfying vegetarian/vegan plates—make it a go-to after sightseeing. Expect authentic textures, bold salsas, and a casual setting that feels both homey and adventurous for people chasing real Mexican flavors in the city.

months agoAnother foreign local told me about this place, and it did not disappoint. I had the taco set with a chicken and a pork taco - both were excellent and the salsa was nice and spicy (not easy to find in Japan). The tortillas were made in-house fresh (not sure why they don't also make their own chips). The salsas were also made from scratch. I will return to try their enchiladas next time. Not a lot of Mexican options in Osaka - this one is highly recommended. Went back for enchiladas today. SO GOOD!

weeks agoAs a Mexican American that spent the past 5 years traveling overseas. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to in a long time. Absolute amazing food and the owner is also very nice and personable. An absolute must try. A little before and after of the food although I did miss some of the other dishes that I ordered

months agoThe food was excellent! I went here with my family after visiting Osaka Castle. It was a close food option, plus they had vegan/vegetarian options. I got the chicken burrito, some people ordered different combinations of tacos and chicken quesadillas, and my vegetarian uncle got the guacamole toast and salad and the vegetarian quesadilla. Finding good vegetarian options has been tough, but this place exceeded our expectations. All of us left full and satisfied with our meal.

months agoFood was absolutely delicious and super fresh, I had the spicy prawn and potato burrito and it was delicious. Absolutely loved it. The owner was a really nice guy too, decent chat and happy to make it as spicy as I liked! Definitely worth your time.

months agoSome of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I am originally from California and missed good Mexican food, found this little place on Google and absolutely loved it. The owner is original from Mexico and he knows how to cook. I wish him the best and hope he has great success!
