2 weeks ago⭐Mexican Bar Bebedor / A Mexican bar for adults where you can truly enjoy mezcal and tequila Bebedor is a reliable spot for alcohol lovers, offering not only great food but also an extensive selection of Mexican distilled spirits. With a wide selection of tequilas and mezcals, even a glance at the menu reveals the bar's seriousness. It's rare to see a bar that offers a selection of brands that can be enjoyed straight or on the rocks, rather than relying on highballs and cocktails. The food, centered around tacos and quesadillas, maintains a local flavor while also being palatable to Japanese palates. The tomato and jalapeño appetizers offer a pleasant tartness and spiciness, perfectly complementing stronger drinks. The bar's composition, which allows you to drink without becoming overly heavy, is a plus. The interior's tiled interior and the bottle-lined counter create a cozy atmosphere, making it a comfortable space even for solo diners. The staff's knowledgeable staff are also on-point, and they're quick to recommend drinks based on your preferences, giving you peace of mind. This restaurant is perfect for people who want to enjoy Mexican food not just as a snack, but also as a companion to alcohol. If you're interested in tequila or mezcal, this is a great restaurant in Sendai that you should visit at least once.

2 months agoA Mexican bar that welcomes drinkers! Apparently, Bebedor means drinker in Spanish. I had come to Sendai the day before to set up a stall at the Latin Caribbean Festival being held the next day, and this was one of the places I really wanted to visit. It was my first time meeting someone and sitting at the counter, but the person sitting next to me was someone from the tomorrow's festival. People gather here even without making an appointment, which goes to show that this is an important base for mezcal and tequila in Sendai. The variety of mezcal they serve must be the best in Sendai. As it was close to closing time, I ended up not eating and just had some mezcal, but it seems their food is also popular. I had their tacos the next day at an event and they were delicious. I ended up becoming friends with some locals, who even made a reservation for me at the restaurant afterwards. The owner is really nice.
