Rigoletto Tapas Lounge

I went there the other day and paid using a barcode, but it seemed like the payment was a little slow to reflect on the machine, and the male staff member strongly asked me, "The bill hasn't been reflected yet. Did you really pay?", falsely accusing me of eating and drinking without paying. Fortunately, I showed him my payment app history and it seemed to reflect on the machine after a moment's pause... Although the staff member said, "We've checked it, sorry, it seems like the payment was delayed on the machine," it honestly ruined my mood after a fun meal. Are they really that prone to dine-and-dash customers? I think they could at least be more smart and provide a wait, like, "We're confirming your payment." It was a shame, as it seemed like the only thing that was flashy was the ambiance. They have a wide selection of drinks and the food is great, so I've been here a few times before, but I'm not sure if I'll go out of my way to choose them again in the future.

I often visit this branch in Tokyo, and I was looking forward to the Sendai branch, but it was a very disappointing experience. I sat on the second floor, but the interior was very old and poorly cleaned. There was a lot of dust, the tables and chairs were dilapidated, and the glassware was dirty. Given how well-known the restaurant is, I feel they should consider renovating. Next, I had serious concerns about hygiene. The wait staff handled the bill without sanitizing their hands, and they directly touched the truffles and cheese on the risotto before serving it. I think this is extremely questionable behavior for a restaurant. Also, the water glass still had the mouthprint of the previous customer on it when I served it. Considering the risk of gastroenteritis and norovirus, I feel this is not a safe place to eat. As for the food, I ordered truffle pasta, but the truffle aroma was barely detectable and the garlic flavor was too strong. They added some grated truffle to finish it off, but it was such a small amount that I had to decline. Overall, I was looking forward to it, so it was very disappointing. At least, I will never go to the Sendai store again.
