We spotted this gem on Google a few mins from our Air BnB, and just about had the best breakfast experience albeit it was a short visit. Absolutely charming, love the decor, earthy and welcoming, and had a conversation with the lovely owner and her mum, who is the chef. If you’re around the area, drop by and be delighted. Mainly gluten free menu but it’s just as delish with great coffee.
Authentic and relaxing little cafe with gluten free and few vegan options (just for breakfast). It is family owned and the personnel is super kind and welcoming. They could speak very good English and were happy to do a bit of conversation. It felt very heartwarming. Will definitely go back.
I really enjoyed having breakfast here. The coffee was excellent, and the pancakes were absolutely delicious. Milano and her mum were so sweet and friendly, which made the experience even more special.
This place gave me another lovely memory from my visit to Japan. I highly recommend it!
Imagine being gluten intolerant and having a friend - who is also gluten intolerant - and her mom make you the best gf meal you’ve eaten in ages, as you sit in their dining room and relax. That is what eating here is like. This tiny little gem of a restaurant is worth seeking out if you are in this corner of Tokyo. The owner is truly lovely, the restaurant is beautiful and intimate, and the food is outstanding. The pancakes alone were worth the trip! Thank you to Seed Cafe for taking such good care of “special needs” diners like me who still love to eat delicious food!
Seed Cafe is down a narrow street so look out for the helpful sign on the way in. The interior is modern with seating on the first floor as well as a second floor that could be a private dining room. The service was excellent and it was like being in someone's house having dinner. We were happy to have a delicious and safe gluten-free and peanut-free dinner. In Tokyo on our trip.
