TACO FANATICO Shibuya

After a long day of shopping and traveling, we were starving but there weren’t many places open that had veggie/ vegan options. We saw this place, close to the train station. It was small but we were able to get seats, its singular seating around the bar (tables outside but it was raining). We were seated pretty quickly and got chips and guac and some tacos. The Guac is fresh and you mash it yourself- was very delicious and the chips fresh. I had the veggie tacos and my friend tried the chicken ones and beef ones- they were so good. We had some mezcal and the margarita was pretty good too. They had really good music and their own toilet as well. I will 100% come back here again!

We stopped by Taco Funatico in Shibuya on New Year’s Day and loved it. The place was packed, music was great, and we just made it in before a line started.

The food was awesome. We had the burrito, chicken fajitas, and suadero, all cooked right in front of us and super tasty. We also tried the Jamaica tequila and the house ginger ale, both really good.

What really stood out was the staff. There were only two women running everything, and they handled it all with smiles, great energy, and efficiency. Big respect.
We even grabbed a burrito to go. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

Wow, this place lives up to the hype! I came here at 11pm on Wednesday, and it stay in consistently busy for the full hour I was there. Food was amazing, as was the presentation. The wait time between ordering and receiving food was super reasonable, as well! It was cool being able to see the chef cook right in front of you, too. Everybody I interacted with was super cool and spoke perfect English, which made the atmosphere excellent and ordering a breeze :)

I had an amazing time at Taco Fanatico in Shibuya Center. The atmosphere is super lively with great Mexican music, and it’s an all-counter restaurant. When you sit down, the staff kindly lets you know it’s cashless, which is very smooth.

I started with a Strawberry Margarita and Shrimp Margarita Tacos – both absolutely delicious! I couldn’t resist ordering a Beef Burrito afterward, and it was simply perfect.

For dessert, I tried the Chocolate Terrine with Coconut Ice Cream .it was insanely good. If you go there, absolutely order it!

All the staff speak English, which makes everything easy and welcoming. Special thanks to Touji and Rin for the wonderful service!

I’m not usually a big fan of Mexican food, but this place was something else. The food was incredibly delicious and honestly exceeded my expectations. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. If you’re visiting Tokyo , I definitely recommend trying it!
