Simply delish for our first Wagyu meals here in Japan & Kyoto. The place tucks in a side street of the market. You have to walk through an isle to get to it. It’s a small place with roughly less than 8 or 10 tables (2 tradition seating style & the rest are tables & chairs). Simple menu, just meats so easy to order with friendly, easy going and very helpful staff / they do speak English so it helped a lot, especially when you just arrived and this is your 1st meal. Simple decor and very clean & bright place with soft music as background. Foods came out fast and it was DELICIOUS or we’re just really hungry and dying to eat Japanese foods. Either way can’t express how much we enjoyed it and still thinking about it. The meats are fresh, tasty, not over cooked nor seasoned. Just simple and lets the natural favor enhanced your taste but. And we’re loving it ever bite of it.

Fantastic food. The best beef we had in Kyoto, very tender and tasty. The lady who attended to us was very kind and nice. Kudos to the kitchen team for the great food. Place is very cozy too. We highly recommend this place. Take note that they are only open from 11am to 4pm when we visited, so not sure if operational hours change or vary based on season.

The atmosphere presented by this restraunt is just so amazing, quiet music, low volume, and the seating options are just fantastic. Food wise it's presented elegantly - perfect for an insta post.

Not many people here but it is quite hard to find the way to.

Defo reccomend as the food is decent, dishes start at 1.500 yen

We were wandering near the main street like lost tourists in an RPG when we stumbled upon this absolute gem. We were looking for the "perfect" spot, which is usually code for "a place that serves world-class beef for me and something other than a bowl of steam for my vegetarian wife."
Let’s talk about the Wagyu. Calling it "meat" feels like an insult; it’s more like a savory butter cloud that gave up on life just to make me happy. It had so much marbling I’m pretty sure my cholesterol rose just by looking at it, and I regret nothing. It literally melted on my tongue. I haven't been this emotionally moved by a protein since I first discovered bacon.
Now, the real miracle: The Vegetarian Wife approved. Usually, taking her to a Wagyu joint is like taking a cat to a dog show—lots of judging and hissing. But she actually found plenty to eat! Between the grilled seasonal vegetables (which apparently tasted like they were grown in soil blessed by monks) and the incredible appetizers, she wasn't just "satisfied"—she was actually happy.
    Pros:
    • The beef will make you see God.
    • Vegetarians won't starve or glare at you the whole meal.
    • Atmosphere is top-tier.
    Cons:
    • I now have to go back to eating regular supermarket steak, which currently feels like chewing on a discarded flip-flop.
10/10. If you’re near the main street, stop searching and just go here. Your stomach (and your marriage) will thank you.

Went into this quaint restaurant via a small alleyway. We were fairly surprised with the cozy and home-like atmosphere. We ordered the wagyu beef bowl and sake. The sake was very good and the beef bowl absolutely delicious.
