ラ•タコ (La.taco.Kyoto) is a compact taco haven in Kyoto, celebrated for its handmade tortillas and authentic carnitas and pastor. Visitors from Mexico and L.A. compare these tacos to the best, noting excellent salsa verde and bold flavors. Affordable combo options (three tacos for 1000 yen) and a welcoming owner with genuine Mexican vibes make it a local favorite for a quick, delicious bite.

2 weeks agoExcellent taco restaurant in Kyoto. I’m Mexican, and I truly enjoyed the food the tacos are delicious and very well made. The owner puts a lot of heart into the place, he’s very friendly and treats you really well, which makes the whole experience even better. Everything about this place is excellent, and I would 100% recommend it if you’re looking for great tacos here in Japan.

a month agoI can see why the high rating, it really tastes very legit. The toppings all come together for something super authentic. Price is slightly high but for the standard it's only reasonable. Esp the corn tortilla, it's a little bit crispy, and not mushy which is very very tough to achieve (most places have terrible corn tortillas) Spicy spice level is actually quite spicy, contrary to normal Japanese standards
