2 weeks agoThe meat lacks depth of flavor. The taco shells aren't very good either, but it's a rare find for a place that serves street-style tacos. There's a lot of cilantro, so if you don't like it, ask them to leave it out.

2 weeks agoIf you want to taste authentic tacos in Kyoto, this is the place to go! Everything is top-notch, from the tortillas to the fillings and salsa. The owner is also very friendly and a really great guy.

a month agoQuite possibly, the world’s smallest taqueria, on the most inconspicuous corner in Kyoto, but homeboy is turning out some delicious street tacos on handmade corn tortillas. The flavors are there, and the owner’s heart and passion are evident! I ordered one of each, al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo. After I polished those off, I ordered another round of the same! Banging! The tacos are topped with green tomatillo salsa and chopped onions. The carnitas had the fat and a bit of crispiness, too. He also does taco parties, and you can order tortillas if you give him advance notice. Muchas gracias!!
