COMEDOR DE MARGARITA MODERN MEXICANO

I went to "COMEDOR DE MARGARITA MODERN MEXICANO." "Margarita" is located in the restaurant area on the 9th floor of NEWoMan Yokohama, a shopping mall near Yokohama Station. The restaurant is semi-open and long, with counter seating surrounding a bar on the left, table seating on the right, and the kitchen in the back. The staff here were quick to respond and explained everything to me, even though I'm not familiar with Mexican food. For my first dish from the lunch menu, I ordered the signature "Domestic Nasai Chicken Fajitas." The lunch comes with soup, salsa, and tortillas. The fajitas are served on a hot plate with sautéed onions and cabbage, and the chicken is topped with jalapeno and shredded garlic. The vegetables themselves weren't very flavorful, just lightly salted. Add salsa sauce and wrap it in a tortilla, and you've got yourself a surprisingly authentic Mexican meal. The chicken was tender and the aroma was reminiscent of Mexican cuisine, making these fajitas very delicious. I was very surprised at how the salsa sauce made them taste so authentically Mexican. The soup was a light minestrone-style soup, with the seasonings and flavorings very Mexican. It was my first time eating Mexican food, and I really enjoyed it. I'd like to try another menu item next time.

This place is amazing. I had the Create your Own Tacos, beef Piccadillo and shrimp picante...so good. Arigato!!
