2 weeks agoDelicious food and great service. Very authentic tacos. It is a small space, so you can't just show up with a large group and hope it works out. Small groups and advanced notice results in a great time. Highly recommended!!!

10 months agoWhere to begin. As a Latin Chef this was something that wasn’t on my bucket list but wow it should have been . A French Mexican gem run by a lovely Japanese couple. The Chef Chris is an amazing person and him and his wife run this French Bistro/Mexican Taqueria . Both trained into their craft the night is a symphony of flavors from all over the world in the heart of Japan . This is a combination that I didn’t know I need it. What an amazing experience. Can’t thank them enough for the great service and amazing food. First of all Chris makes his own tortillas .like literally nixtamaliza the corn and grind it and makes fresh real blue corn tortillas. The Suadero tacos and the traditional Birria were amazing .this is not your Americanized Mexican place they do real Mexican food .The Pickled onions are some of the best I ever tried . Highly recommend.

9 months agoA Unique Taco Experience in Japan. Upon arrival, the sign outside the restaurant advertises tacos at 500 yen, but inside, the menu lists them at 600 yen. This discrepancy, while small, might raise an eyebrow for first-time visitors. Additionally, the establishment charges a 300-yen seating fee, a practice common in Japan but potentially surprising to international diners unfamiliar with the custom. Despite these initial quirks, the experience quickly takes a turn for the better. The chef is warm and welcoming, setting the tone for an inviting atmosphere. As for the tacos, they are nothing short of exceptional. The carnitas and birria, in particular, are standout dishes. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and rich in flavor, these tacos rival—or perhaps surpass—those found in traditional taco hubs. They’re so remarkable that it feels almost unfair to have to travel all the way to Japan to enjoy them. While the pricing structure and seating fee might deter some, the quality of the food and the chef’s hospitality make this a worthwhile destination for taco enthusiasts. If you find yourself in Japan, this spot deserves a place on your culinary itinerary.

a year agoIt was really good and delicious. A little bit expensive, however one of the few places in Japan where you can get real Mexican food. Therefore the price is justified compared to other places where they serve mex-Tex food.
