8 meses agoI spent nearly a month in Tokyo and I was staying near Setagaya-Daita station.
One night I was taking a walk just 10 minutes from my airbnb and I happened to get across this wonderful Izakaya.
I saw a writing on the door and what I read instantly warmed my heart, so I decided to get it. Little did I know that Bobio was going to be one of my favorite places to spend my time in Tokyo in the evening.
Bobio is a cozy place with chill music and a beautiful collection of hats inside which are displayed all around the izakaya.
This place, the people I met here and the owner, Hide, who I thank so much for being such a wonderful person, made me feel home like never before.
Everything was amazing, the drinks, the amazing food, the talks.
I’ll forever keep this place in my heart and I can’t wait to come back and experience the warmth of Bobio once again. If you happen to be in Umegaoka, please go take a look inside, you definetely won’t regret it.

5 meses agoSuper cozy spot for some food and drinks. There’s a nicely curated selection of vintage caps from the 90’s for sale. The owner was very friendly and struck up a conversation with us right off the bat. The food was very tasty and the selection of drinks was great! We went for the sours, and were delighted with all the flavors. We’re visiting for a couple months and can see this becoming one of our local favorites.

8 meses agoCame for the great reviewed gyoza, but was surprised by the Brazilian chef making Brazilian food. The pastel mixed plate was really fun.
That was my first Brazilian food and I am really happy I found it.
See you soon!

3 años agoWe stumbled upon Bibio after we couldn’t get into a tempura restaurant down the road & it did not disappoint!! The owner & team were friendly & kind. The music was on point & the atmosphere was warm, welcoming & stylish. Order the karaage, bean sprout salad, pickled cucumbers, yakitori & the dumplings. Also the lemon sour w/ celery was a surprising but refreshing drink. Everything is delicious though, even the rare sake we were able to try! We noticed a lot of locals eating here. A great find, hope to come back some day! Thank you for an amazing food experience!
