5 months agoAfter learning about Jeff and his journey to work in Yatai Stalls, I finally had the opportunity to meet him and try the food. The Jerk Chicken & Myer's Rum hit the spot after a long day of exploring. The staff were easy going and offered Tequila shots. The staff speaks multiple languages: French, Japanese & English, maybe Spanish as well not sure on that one. Don't worry about the language barriers, enjoy the food and the rest will follow. It was a lovely meeting with Jeff and the next time I'm in Fukuoka, I will definitely visit him again and wish him all the best to get his own restaurant.

8 months agoEl Bajón offers a great mix of international dishes in a laid-back street food setting. The menu is packed with flavour, offering everything from Mexican tacos to Mediterranean falafel and Asian stir-fries. Each dish is fresh and generously portioned, making it the perfect spot for a tasty and satisfying meal on the go. The casual vibe and outdoor seating make it a fun place to grab a bite while enjoying the lively atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re after some tasty global flavours in a relaxed setting.

11 months agoGreat food and all but I was seated in front of the wall which made me and I friend feel “unwanted” but other than that the food and the nice french guy which was super friendly to us made the night. But i would like them to get rid of the wall, you cannot see anything at all at those 2 seats so beware, zero vibes. Fav food was the kentaiko butter baguette.

11 months agoThe vibes are immaculate! The food is also just as good. We had the jerk chicken, Al pastor tacos and Jeff’s signature crepe, plenty of beers and tequila shots! Overall an amazing Yatai experience! You can go as a group or solo and you will have a blast either way! Can’t wait to go back.
