If you’re looking for a laidback relaxed vibe with great service & yummy gluten free option food, then this is a must when in Hiroshima! The staff speak good English and are very friendly and happy! There are various GF & non GF options, all delicious and fresh! The potion sizes are small so order more than 1 dish to try! The best GF place we found in Hiroshima! Highly recommend and will be back time and time again!

We had a great time here learning about the instruments, he even played many of them for us and let us try them out. We had a jam session together and really enjoyed ourselves. We ordered a couple of dishes and smoothies which were good.

What a gem of a restaurant, run by the most friendliest and sweet Japanese family. You go there for the super authentic and alternative atmosphere of this Hiroshima staple which is running for decades already. You might get more authentic Mexican food in South America, but for Japan it was great and it was quite liberating to get a break from the omnipresent rice. They owner speaks very good English, the menu is in English as well and they are very aware of any dietary restrictions and especially also cater to vegetarians and vegans alike. They also have vegan cheese and almost everything is gluten free or can be prepared like this. We all left with full bellies and a very warm heart, thank you so much ♥

After visiting the Hiroshima area, museum and park, we felt like having a late lunch and found Otis. The owner is an amazing sweet man and the woman who cooks the food is just as sweet.

I ordered the Bean Tacos which were very tasty with the tortilla, lettuce, tomato, black beans, grated cheese and a light red chili sauce. The combination is perfect.

A few others ordered the Quesadillas, one with pork the other with black beans. Both loved the flavors. Our son ordered the Taco Rice bowl and enjoyed the dish.

Overall, great food and music while eating.

I was a little skeptical about trying a Tex-Mex restaurant in Japan, but it turned out to be a fun experience. From my perspective, the food was decent – I’ve had better Mexican dishes elsewhere – but it was still enjoyable.

The real highlight here is the atmosphere. The place has a quirky, punk-inspired vibe, with a lot of character and a welcoming, laid-back feel. The staff was very friendly, and even the restroom adds to the “crazy” charm of the place.

If you’re staying in Hiroshima for a longer time and want something different from Japanese cuisine, it’s definitely worth checking out.
