El barrio de Kyoto tiene en AIN SOPH. Journey KYOTO uno de esos rincones que la gente guarda como secreto antes de compartirlos. Un lugar donde la cocina habla por si misma: sin artificios innecesarios, con productos frescos y tecnica solida detras de cada plato que sale a la sala. El equipo cuida cada detalle: desde la seleccion del producto hasta la presentacion final, pasando por un servicio que hace sentir bien a quien se sienta en cualquiera de las mesas. Un descubrimiento que se convierte en habito para quienes tienen la suerte de visitarlo por primera vez.

2 meses agoI loved this place, I had been craving pancakes ever since I got to Japan and finally I could have great ones thanks to this place. The burger was delicious, tasty and juicy. The pancakes were the cherry on the top, finishing an already great meal. The karaage were delicious too. My partner had the pudding for dessert, I must say the pancake is the better choice haha. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere.

1 mes agoTook me a second to find this place - but cute and cozy restaurant. They had a sign on the door stating they took reservations primarily but I was able to get a table upstairs for one. I think upstairs they sometimes forget about you, but there was free water and comfy seats with calming music. They also have a burger meal and you can get discounted drinks. I got the chicken burger combo and glass of red wine. All was good, although the fries were slim. Burger was filling and yummy. Would love to try their desserts next time! Would come back here again, maybe with a reservation for dinner. They also have loads of cookies and pudding to go! Would recommend!

4 semanas agoGreat little vegan spot. Also have some gluten free options. Tasted great! More Americanized food but we went by twice. Once for their ice cream and second time for lunch. Food was delicious and well prepared.

9 meses agoAmazing vegan spot in Kyoto, with plenty of gluten free options. Probably one of the best vegan spots I’ve visited so far. Staff are friendly and food is unreal - recommend the fried soy pieces. They no longer accept bookings so although the website says no availability, you can just walk in! 100% worth trying! We went for lunch and dinner!!
And also went to the Tokyo restaurant, quite similar but also has its own touches :)

5 meses agoA cozy vegan restaurant. Was wanting non-Asian food for a change and came here for dinner. One of the best vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would come again.
