Herradura is a narrow, multi-floor cantina tucked into Nakazaki, offering classic Mexican food like tacos, burritos and enchiladas alongside a strong selection of beers and tequila. Visitors enjoy the chill vibes, quick service and vegetarian options that swap meat for refried beans. The frozen margarita is a highlight, and the friendly staff create a welcoming spot for families and travelers exploring Osaka’s hidden culinary corners.

in the last weekBarcode payment accepted I ordered a quesadilla, a burrito, and other main dishes. Honestly, they were just average. Nakazakicho is primarily a place to enjoy the atmosphere, so if that's what you're looking for, this is a good place. The clientele was mostly female, so maybe this area isn't the place to go if you're looking for flavor.

a week agoIf you’re looking for some Mexican cuisine, this is a pretty good option in Osaka. The beef taco and Chile Con Carne both have cinnamon undertones, which is very reminiscent of authentic Mexican cooking, especially in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. The portion sizes are small, but the prices are very fair. We ordered several dishes to share. They offer some Mexican beers and also Margaritas by the glass or pitcher! Just make sure you walk down the narrow alley to find Herradura, otherwise you will end up in a ramen shop. There are several flights of steep stairs to climb, so be aware this may be an issues if you have someone with mobility issues.
