Great food, cocktails and good service. We ordered margaritas with the spicy rim which was delicious. For food we got the roast beef rellenos, the beef was tender and the filling was were tangy and flavourful. Tostada de salmon which was very good crunchy tostado but the salmon quality could’ve been a bit better, still very good. The pulled pork burrito and enchiladas were also tasty. All in all would recommend and go again to try out more things on the menu. Make sure to get a reservation before going, it’s a smaller place with limited seating and popular since it’s pretty authentic
Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, one weird rule.
Fukumen not only tastes amazing, but also feels authentic (I'm no authority on authentic Mexican food though).
Chicken Taquitos did not feel heavy despite being fried, and the flavors were nice and tangy.
The Quesebirria is unique to Fukumen- the beef was very juicy, and it goes very well with their hot sauce.
Chicken quesadilla may look bland from the outside, but it packed flavour within. Good quality cheese, good quality chicken and just the right amount of spice.
There's only one chef at this place, so it takes a long time to get your food (45min for us).
They have one weird rule which left a bad taste in the mouth- it's mandatory to order a drink per person, even if you don't drink alcohol. This is even though 95% of the drinks menu is alcohol, and the remaining non-alcoholic options seems overpriced.
Still, try the Chicha Morada if you're having a non-alcoholic drink. It tastes like a toned down version of mulled wine.
Interiors are great, clean restroom and hand wash area as well.
What started as a simple trip to get my tostones fix ended up becoming so much more. Everyone in the reviews keeps calling this place amazing, and that’s because it truly is. Of course the food is great but the staff is great too, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. If you’re stuck choosing between this place and another, do yourself a favor and just go here.
This place is an utter experience, we had the privilege of the chef or should I say artist service us. He was an utter gent with a genuine love and passion for the food he was serving us. Some Best food even to categorise best Mexican food (iv had the privilege of visiting Mexico twice) iv had the joy of eating in my life! Can’t recommend enough! We were lucky to get a walk in would recommend emailing and booking if you can!
It's nearly 2 months since we went here and me and my partner still talk about how good it was! The cheese quesadillas were so good we got them twice. Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Tokyo.
