Kitade Tacos COMMISSARY

5 tacos and 1 "Modelo" beer will satisfy even the most demanding Mexican taste.
I'm Mexican and this is the closest Mexican flavor in Tokyo and surroundings so far (10 years in Japan already).
Note: the barbacoa were the closest to a 100% Mexican taco (maybe at around 95%). The others were "very good", but nothing impressive.

Excellent spot if you're craving tacos outside of Mexico/America. The tortillas are nixtamalized in-house and the quality definitely shows. I do wish the salsas were a bit spicier, but the milder taste likely fits Japan more.

We tried their tacos, wings, and Jamaica. The Jamaica needed to be a little bit sweeter and the wings were mostly cumin which didn’t really taste like anything Mexican, but they were ok. The tacos on the other hand were really good, not bad with the limited options in Japan. The tortillas are really good and they make them themselves. If you get the three taco set it comes with some tortilla chips and a small chicken soup.

Flavors were good but tacos were cold. Also they should double layer the thin corn tortillas.

10/10 best tacos I’ve had in Japan. Absolutely will be going back again in the future! I realise this once I actually got to the restaurant but they make all of the taco soft shells from scratch you can tell when eating the tacos that all of the ingredients have been made fresh and made in a way that takes care to highlight each ingredient! After eating their 3 taco plate I actually went back for three more tacos!! My fav was the beef and in second place maybe the pork but honestly it was all amazing! The guacamole was also very very good and the green and red sauce at the counter is a must use!
