Mexican Fast Food Pocataco’s Nakano

Went for late lunch on a weekend. It wasn't busy. The staff are friendly. The menu has pictures. I ordered a chicken taco and a chicken taquito. The chicken taco was decent. Nice flavor. Standard tex-mex. The taquito was crispy. Good flavor. Paid with a card. May return.

Usually I don't write reviews. However, this place has spectacular out-of-this-world service for such a cheap restaurant. As the other reviews have said, its got underwhelming portion size and isn't really authentic. But it tastes better than I thought for low priced mexican food. I recommend if you're looking for cheap mexican food with Michelin-level attentiveness from the owner. But for authentic mexican food, Chiles in Takeshita street is better

Opens at 10am! Free refill on coffee! Good background music! Food is good too~ Not authentic Mexican food at all, and not fancy. If you want fancy faux authentic stuff, go to Harajuku or Meguru or some other damn place. This is Nakano!

Not worth it at all. Burritos are wet and not nicely toasted, filling is minimal as to be expected for 500Yen. But you actually end up spending more like 1000yen if you include drinks and some other stuff maybe.
The Taquito i ordered was also lukewarm and not freshly made on order.
And the taste.. yea not nice. Missing some salt to say the least but also underlying freshness.

Dont recommend.

If you’re expecting authentic Mexican food, do NOT come here. This place serves the best late night “hits the spot” American Tex Mex. Come here for a good nostalgic experience when you’re feeling homesick. We had nachos, two burritos, and animal style fries.
