The food at Shimokitazawa One Love is truly an unparalleled experience, and we can confidently say it's number one in Tokyo. Their signature jerk chicken is fragrant from the charcoal fire, with crispy skin and incredibly juicy meat. The secret spices are deeply infused, and one bite brings the heat of Jamaica to your mouth. It's unparalleled in perfection, and you can't talk about jerk chicken without trying it. In particular, the oxtail stew is deeply flavored and simmered until tender, and some say it's exceptional, demonstrating the chef's passion for the food, down to the smallest detail. While each dish maintains authentic flavors, they've also refined them to suit Japanese palates, and the meticulous work behind the creation is truly impressive. One visit and you're sure to be captivated by the deliciousness. One Love's cuisine is unrivaled in Tokyo, and the quality is truly authentic.

As a Jamaican living in Japan, I would say it’s a good place to try incase you miss home. I especially loved that I was able to play dominoes.
