2 meses agoThe food was very unique. I trusted the chef’s recommendations and it was a superb experience. Egg was melting in my mouth. The tabasco was adding a nice kick.
The rice was cooked perfectly. Curry was a perfect complementary. The chicken was tender and soft. Also the meat was not just a texture but somehow well managed to stand out in the curry. There was a special gingery spice called cardamom which reset the palate and let me taste the food with every bite.
The chef was speaking English. Recommended and explained everything and was a kind person.
The atmosphere was chill, jazz music was playing in the background. A perfect place to release some steam.

6 meses agoWhat a hidden gem tucked away in a residential area! The taco bowls were super delicious with silky eggs on top, lots of layers, textures and flavours. Also love the homemade tabasco and best chai I’ve ever had in my life - very gingery and spicy so might not be for everyone, but I loved it!!! You can tell everything is made with love and care. If I lived nearby, I would come here all the time. Not to mention the owner is very friendly, helped us translate the menu and showed us a fun photo book. Finding hidden gems like this while travelling is what makes it all worthwhile and memorable. Definitely a spot we could come back to every time we visit Tokyo in the future.

7 meses agoYou’ll need to check Twitter/X for opening times and the menu changes occasionally, it’s best to arrive early because items can sell out fast. The atmosphere is great— a small, cozy spot with a really warm vibe. The owner speaks excellent English and, despite working alone, served us surprisingly quickly. Our Two meals together came in under 4,000 yen, which is a steal. Prices are affordable, they’re flexible with order modifications, and overall it’s an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a cheap, comfortable place to eat.

1 mes agoWe arrived just out of chance. We were expecting standard Australian tacos which are served with a taco shell. This is taco rice & way more delicious. The coco rice was delightful, gin & tonic great, crispy add on chicken great. We got to the spicy one & I was dubious. Blueberry/jalopeno salsa… how’s that work? It just does! Home made spicy sauce hubby loved. Cilantro =coriander. I love it, but if you don’t just don’t get it. One man show but the vibe was super chill/ relaxed & food simply delightful. Hats off to the chef. Love the tunes also
