1 mes agoA good selection of delicious beers in a compact and funky location with a nice outlook. You can smell the roasting malt while you sit there and the beer range is pretty wide. A diverse and welcome range. Lovely just to hang out and sup. Prices are pretty good too.
Good and friendly service and enough English to make it easy.
Food-wise, we also tried the diamond cut duck with cheese dish. Holy cow, a revelation! (Smoked duck and cheese!) And excellent value too.
Also some good sake and other non-beer options. Tastiest sake I’ve had!
Loved it all!

2 meses agoVisited Tokyo Beer Lab because we wanted to try some local beers on tap and it turned out to be a great little spot.
It is a cute bar with a really good atmosphere, and you can actually see the brewing vats through the window which adds to the experience. They have a solid range of IPAs and Japanese beers on tap, with plenty of options to try.
The crowd seemed to be a mix of expats and tourists, but the vibe was still relaxed and welcoming. The staff were knowledgeable about the beers and happy to guide us through the different options.
The small snacks available were perfect for an in between meals stop while exploring the city.
Great vibe, good beer selection and definitely worth visiting if you enjoy craft beer.

4 meses agoA local craft beer brewery offering their own brew on tap & in cans you can take home. They have a good selection of beer styles, with their specialty being beer infused with Japanese tea. The brewpub is small & cozy with bar & stool seating, and a small food menu (loved their fried chicken)

4 meses agoA small and comfy beer bar (which is also the brewery) with great drinks and snacks. The locals are super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and chill. If you’re not into beer (like myself) they offer tasty sake as well :) We visited Japan 3 times and always came back to this place since the quality and vibe is simply awesome! They also sell cute merch with great designs.

5 meses agoKyoto Beer Lab is a small, tucked-away spot that’s absolutely worth seeking out. The space is cosy and intimate, but the beer lineup is fantastic with plenty of fresh, well-crafted options to choose from. The crowd felt like a great mix of locals and travellers from all over the world, which gave it a fun, friendly vibe. It’s slightly off the main tourist drag, but the short walk makes it feel like a hidden gem. Definitely a must-visit for craft beer lovers in Kyoto.
