Pizza & Cafe Bird

After arriving late one night in Sendai, we made a last minute decision to eat out and try Pizza Bird. I'm glad we did - it was the highlight of our stopover in Sendai. We had a Margherita pizza, a funghi pizza, spaghetti al limone, and caesar salad. The pizza base was light with the right amount of char, crisp and chewiness. The spaghetti al limone was delightfully bright and zesty, and the caesar was fresh and dressed well with a house made dressing. Would recommend to anyone in Sendai who's after excellent pizza and pasta at very reasonable prices.

I tried the fries and chilli-something-I-forgot nad it was delicious! It has meat and bean as the topping and it went well with the fries. The pepperoni pizza was fresh, you can taste the fresh tomatoes on the pizza. The service was nice and the food was quite fast to prepare.

Likely the best caesar salad I have ever had, and the staff were very friendly. Pizzas were also very yummy.

Pizza Bird is amazing! If you’re an American (or otherwise love pizza) please give them a try, they’re excellent! Definitely will live up to your standards, and try their ginger soda too!
