1 mes agoReally enjoyed this place! The ambience was definitely chill, cozy & warm.
Staff here is very minimal, but so respectful. It feels like good, homemade family cooking. Their empanadas were big! Has a slight kick of heat to it. Salchipapas plate was very filling too. Loved the sauces/salas they provided as well.
Ordered the chicken to go on a separate occasion & it was very moist. Good flavor too. Definitely recommend their salsa verde!
Initially, I was confused when we found this place. Having been on gate 2 several times, it never really stood out. Recommended to the staff/owner they should have some sort of street sign or advertisement to garner attention. Would really help attract more customers.
Try their fresh juice too! Definitely check this place out. Hours are definitely limited, so make sure you check/call beforehand. Also, menu might be a bit small BUT consistent!
Hope you enjoy it :)

1 año agoI had given up on trying this place because every time I tried going it was always closed. I was walking by today and noticed someone inside so I stopped. Caught them right at closing but I was able to order to-go. I ordered an empanada and it was good.
The menu isn't that big, but they said they do special orders, so if you have something you like you can reach out to them. I recommend calling them. I tried reaching out to them on Facebook Messenger; someone read my message, but didn't reply.

2 años agoA friend and I stumbled upon this place while searching for dinner.
With a Peruvian wife, I’m always excited to see a Peruvian restaurant, especially in the middle of Okinawa!
Upon arrival, we were informed they were out of a few items. We both ordered the Peruvian Beef with Inca Kola.
I find the dish to be most reminiscent of Bistec a lo Pobre (poor man’s steak). That said, it was delicious!
Our wait wasn’t long, the food was proportioned well and priced right. All positive in my experience!
As mentioned earlier, I just wish they hadn’t been out of some items. I would have loved a glass of chicha, for instance.
But I’m looking forward to going back!

7 años agoThe food and service were nothing to write home about. The girl was nice but hid from us the whole time. The meat filled potato thing was super good. The tamale, not so much. The purple corn drink was really good, like a mild iced apple cider. We didn’t actually try the chicken but it looked tasty.
