Taco Petes

We’ve had better experiences here in the past. Sadly things seem to have gone downhill. The place was packed so we did takeout but the woman behind the counter was short and seemed annoyed we were ordering food. I understand you’re busy, but she also took a phone call while we ordering and was rude to the person on the phone. Our order was missing the corn we ordered and one taco, which when you only order 4 tacos that’s kind of disappointing. The tacos we did get were small and mediocre. Seems like service and quality are going downhill due to the hype this place received. At one point we thought it lived up to the hype, not anymore.

My only problem is that I didn’t find this place sooner. Goodbye taco Loco, king tacos. This is my new spot. May my blood sugar rise with the same enthusiasm as this establishment’s success. They have earned both.

The older woman was always chatting, which slowed down service, and she spoke informally, making it very unpleasant to be there. All the staff had terrible attitudes, and I never want to go back. The Uber Eats delivery driver was also rude, telling me to wait outside because my order wasn't ready yet, which really upset me.

We stopped by this restaurant with our family on Saturday lunchtime, and it was a real find! The restaurant was filled with foreign customers, giving it an atmosphere that made us feel like we were abroad. The staff were cheerful and lively, making it a very comfortable place to be. The food came out very quickly after we ordered, which was a huge help for us with children. The tacos had an authentic taste; both the tortillas and fillings were delicious. I was so impressed that we could eat such authentic tacos in Okinawa! My 4-year-old son loved them too and ate them with gusto. Our whole family was very satisfied. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious tacos in Okinawa or who wants to enjoy an exotic atmosphere. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Okinawa!
