Chili Joe’s TexMex Restaurant

After 7 years in Japan, the Mexican food options are increasing, but there are few places that are truly Tex-mex. This place felt so nostalgic. The food was incredible and reasonably priced considering the size and cost of Mexican ingredients in Japan. The owner was very friendly and also spoke perfect English.

Very delicious food! I had the wet burrito which had mexican rice and beef (a choice of beef or chicken or beans) inside, and topped which a generous amount of cheese. The owner was very kind and accommodating too. He speaks some english as well. I would love to come back here again

American portions and proper Tex-Mex way out here in Fukuoka! The food was great, one of the best burritos I've had in Japan. If the spices aren't enough for you, he has a really nice hot sauce that you can use as well. Also, the aesthetic is spot on. Feels like a little mexican restaurant back in the states. Definitely want to come back!

A little ways out of town in Wajiro but definitely worth the time to get out there for fairly authentic TexMex grub in a cozy setting. Portions are huge and filling. The owner serves up the food promptly and welcomes each patron with a big Texas smile. There are two combo dishes on the menu for those who want to try a little of everything. The difference is whether you want chili con carne or bbq ribs along with a burrito, soft and hard shelled tacos and Mexican rice and some greens. Mexican beers and a full bar selection are available too. The country and western tunes playing softly in the background add to the experience.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Fukuoka Japan. Beats a lot of food here in the states. Try the “Wet Burrito” Fantastic
