I walked into this spot because it was close to my hotel and highly rated, and I immediately dug the vibe. Understated but classy cocktail bar playing classic rock and blues. Kohei-san made me feel at home as an English-speaking American and made conversation with me the whole time I was there, while locals quietly talked amongst themselves. He also made me one of the best whiskey sours I’ve ever had, and it was about half as much as it would have cost me in NYC. Highly recommend this bar.

If I don't watch myself, I can have a tendency to dilly-dally. In fact, I'm so versatile I can also shilly-shally and dawdle. So imagine my pleasant surprise to find a Shinjuku bar where I can dilly-dally until the cows can home. OK, maybe cows dilly-dally, too. This was a smart-looking space with low-level mellow lighting and appropriately chill music. The young bartenders were looking quite hip and ready to pour.

They offer quite a few cocktails on their menu including quite a few they created themselves. I tried one, the ¥1,680 Spice Me Up, a luxuriant Pina Colada with a distinct curry flavor and grilled pineapple inside. My husband went for the ¥1,408 Jamaican Negroni, a potently flavorful combination of dark rum, sweet vermouth, and Campari. Good thing we were within walking distance of our hotel. All we needed was a bag of fries at McDonald's. Told you I can dilly-dally.

COCKTAILS - 4 stars...creative touches on their potent libations
AMBIANCE - 4 stars...nice space, a bit hidden on the 5th floor since you can only take the small elevator to 4 and then walk up
SERVICE - 4 stars...very polite, loved the beret
    TOTAL - 4 stars...you have time to dilly-dally

Nice atmosphere and a very welcoming and friendly team. A strong passion for rum and other spirits. If they make cocktails with Mount Gay XO, you know you have come to a good place.

We had a great time and came back almost every second day during our stay in Tokyo.

Possibly my new favorite bar in Tokyo. The craft cocktails include a small seasonal menu and a large classic menu in a beautiful setting. We were able to get a good table on a Saturday night without reservations. The clear ice was carved like a Diamond.

We have been in Tokyo for almost 4 weeks and this is my favorite bar so far! Tasty cocktails made with hand chiseled clear ice. Friendly service too! We hope we can return before going back to the US.
