Mel’s Diner メルズダイナー es una de esas direcciones de Sapporo que uno visita una vez y quiere repetir. El ambiente acogedor y el servicio atento crean el escenario perfecto para una comida que merece el tiempo que uno le dedica. La cocina hace su parte con productos frescos y tecnica solida. La carta refleja una cocina honesta, trabajada con ingredientes de calidad y recetas que priorizan el sabor por encima de las tendencias del momento. Aqui lo importante es que la comida sea buena, y punto. Sencillamente bueno: lo que uno busca cuando quiere comer bien sin complicaciones ni sorpresas desagradables.

5 meses agoWent to Mel's yesterday. A quiet American-Japanese fusion restaurant, specialising in Hambagu. I ordered the Hambagu Demi-glace and Tempura Hokkaido Potatoes and found it amazingly tasty and filling. The interior decor is great, very Americana atmosphere. The service was great too, two friendly and lovely people who were attentive and even helped me with my poor Japanese! Thank you for having us.

A kitschy modern izakaya that’s designed in an American diner theme.
We enjoyed our spicy chicken, steak and salad. The izakaya is small - 14 seats in total, 3 tables and four counter seats - so getting a table could be a challenge.
Our steak was well cooked and made of Hokkaido Beef. Drinks are relatively inexpensive. Service is friendly.

6 meses agoWe arrived late into Sapporo with limited options for food left to us - but feel lucky that this led us to Mel’s!! Great food, really great food actually! We had the pickled celery, potato tempura and pork with miso - with rice and salad sides. All absolutely delicious! Perfect way to start the trip in Sapporo

3 años agoCrispy fish n chips with fresh flakey cod, cayenne hot sausage and a beer with Hank Williams on the juke box... Where am I exactly??? How fun. Great eats after your bar run, Sapporo!
