Spanish & Latin American Cuisine SANCHO PANZA is a lively spot in Daimyo. Their seafood paella is highly praised, and you can also enjoy cocktails like the Piscolemon Sour and seasonal menus. The terrace seating is popular, featuring BGM that evokes an overseas atmosphere and friendly service. Supported by over 150 locals, it’s the perfect spot for lunch or a casual dinner.

2 weeks agoThe food is good, and as I have gone there a few times already, I always leave satisfied and well fed. But what I enjoyed most was the very respectful and quick service provided by the workers there that also treat you extremely kindly and well. I was also fortunate to attend some of the events they organise in the restaurant, such as singing to dancing “mini shows” — as they call it — and was so very pleased. They provide us with culture and entertainment in the best way possible, and never fail to sweeten a customer’s mood with it. Their playlist on eventless days is also quite enjoyable, and I find myself in a better mood just by listening to it while I eat. I will definitely keep coming back, and thank you to everyone working at Sancho for the hard-work you put into the quality of this restaurant, it is noticeable and appreciated.

3 months agoToday (11/27), my eldest daughter and her boyfriend and I had dinner at Sancho Panza. Our family (5 people) has been going to this restaurant for quite some time, occasionally, and we've always been very satisfied with the atmosphere and food. We decided to just decide on the price and leave everything else to the chef, ordering over the phone. We ordered 5,000 yen per person. After that, they kindly sent us various suggestions for dinner via email, and we ultimately decided on the following. ------------------------------- Budget: 15,000 yen for 3 people (tax included) Drinks: Chef's choice course + one drink per person *Drinks: Today's recommended wine - Red / Gin and tonic / Non-alcoholic cocktail: Coconut cafe au lait *Additional charges apply if drinks are ordered separately. They also suggested a hearty party-style meal for three people to share, but due to various circumstances, we opted for a more formal dinner course, where each person was given a chef's choice plate. -------------------------------- Sancho Panza's signature extra-large portions were a little larger than usual, but the dinner course featured rare ingredients rarely found in Japan, and the three of us were thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. They gave detailed explanations of each plate, but the ingredients were so rare that I can't remember them all... I'll post photos, so please forgive me. Sancho Panza, thank you so much for this rare and delicious meal. Next time, I'll come back for a hearty meal with my family, so please look forward to it. [The following post was made a year ago] I think it's the kind of seasoning you'd find in Western restaurants, with no kelp-based seasoning at all. Those who've lived in the West will know what you mean: Campbell's soup. So, does this mean that it doesn't suit Japanese tastes? Well, it's incredibly delicious. Everything I've ordered so far has been delicious. I'm a pretty big eater, but when I tried the chicken cutlet Napolitana, I was surprised at the portion. Not only the chicken cutlet, but also the accompanying mashed potatoes were the same size as an American diner, and I was very satisfied. This restaurant is very satisfying in both taste and quantity. I think this is one of the few places in Fukuoka where you can experience a truly Western (I've never been to South America...) casual restaurant.
