in the last weekEver since my trip to Peru, whenever I miss those unique flavors, I head to Miraflores. The staff are cheerful and friendly, and the food is one in which careful preparation is evident in each and every dish. From soup to dessert, there's a nostalgic feel to it, yet a mysterious depth that makes you wonder, "Why are they seasoning this?" This is truly what they mean when they say something is a little different. I ordered the creamy chicken. It was also mild and went well with white wine.

a month agoThe restaurant is fairly average. They have very good anticuchos, which are grilled to perfection, and the ceviche is also quite good. However, the lomo saltado leaves much to be desired, as does the rice pudding we ordered. It needs more milk. The night we went, it was completely packed, and the ventilation isn't great. The service is friendly and helpful, and the food is served fairly quickly.
