9 meses agoI didn't know you have to go down the stairs to find tjis café so I spend some time finding it but it was well worth it!
The atmosphere is for my taste not thr nicest since there is no window and it is all very minimalistic, but the food and drinks were great.
the pumpkin brulee latte tasted amazing - it was a rich, silky cream and perfect caramel taste, not too sweet. Some other places use artificial tasting caramel syrup but from this one you could taste that they prepare it thenselves.
The pumpkin pudding also amazing! Not too sweet, perfect amount of eggs (sometimes puddings taste eggy but this one not!), perfect texture.
You order at the bar, you get a pager and they call you once it is ready.
Very high quality products, absolutely worth the price. Will come again!

8 meses agoNot enough reviews mention this but they have pourover coffee with single origin beans. They do roasting in-house and as a coffee snob it was pretty great.
The cafe is in B1F of a hotel but open to anyone. Go in through the main entrance and down the stairs to the right. It is straight ahead after the stairs.

5 meses agoI tried the Uji Matcha Cream Matcha Latte at this cafe, and it was a very unique take on the traditional matcha latte!
Definitely for people with more of a sweet tooth, but when mixed in together with the drink, it balanced the flavours very well.
Decor was quirky and eccentric, worth a visit to see!
It is located within the Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo hotel, and there is also a breakfast set for non-hotel guests, but free to enter to cafe for visitors.

4 semanas agoBeautiful and spacious cafe under the hotel, the matcha and coffee are amazing, presentation is perfect. The coffee is single origin hand dripped and the taste is smooth. It's a great place, I strongly recommend it.

6 meses agoI was staying at the hotel and had the option to use my breakfast ticket here. The presentation was beautiful but the food was even more impressive. Coffee was strong. Yoghurt was fresh with a sweet tinge of honey. Croissant was so delicious. Salad fresh. Eggs cooked perfectly along with savory bacon.
Amazing breakfast!
